A court in northern part of Kashmir’s Handwara on Monday sent incarcerated Hurriyat leader, Masarat Alam on two days police remand, sources said. Muslim League chairman, Masarat was re-arrested in Kotbalawal jail two days back after State High Court quashed his detention under PSA. He was shifted to Handwara police station under FIR No 30/2015 U/S 13 ULA, 148, 147 and 124. Masarat is undergoing continuous detention since October 18, 2010 after he was arrested for spearheading the then uprising, they said.
